Here at Eritrean Diaspora Network (EDN), we have a passion and vision for providing access to higher education in our community. Recognizing funding for college is a challenge facing many students, in May 2019, we proudly announced the launch of the EDN Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund has been a long-time goal for our organization, and to date, we have supported 27 Eritrean students with their educational endeavors.
Last year, because of the generous support of donors, we awarded nine students, dedicated to building and strengthening the Eritrean community with a $2,000 scholarship to support their education journeys. In that spirit, the EDN Scholarship Award Committee will award scholarships to Eritrean-American students in 2023. This year, our goal is to award nine scholarships and increase the scholarship amount to $3,000, with a goal to raise a total of $27,000. To meet this ambitious goal, we need your help!
